Plan your next 90 days

Did you know that the next quarter begins April 1st? Can you believe that you have the POWER to change EVERYTHING right now? To start all over, to hit the reset button, to keep going and NEVER GIVE UP.

It's so hard not to throw our hands up or get distracted by other goals besides what we NEED to really be working on.

Sunday at church I heard the pastor say:

"Get off PAUSE and hit the PLAY button."

Man, that really spoke to me. Just like many of you, I am kicking off my next 90 days—thinking, processing, getting into action, and refocusing.

I don't want to stay in planning mode too long because in my world, ACTION is where I thrive. It's who I am. Deep details are hard for me. I don't like to spend time there, and mundane tasks are very tough for me. But that's not true for everyone. We all need something different. Some need a list of goals, some need precise details, and some don't thrive with a list at all. They function better without it.

Spring isn't just a season—it's your opportunity to TAKE CHARGE and PUSH PLAY! As we enter the second quarter of 2025, it's the PERFECT time to get back on track.

The sun is shining, moods are shifting, and the birds are chirping. There’s no accident that God created this season the way He did—I believe it’s meant to fire us up. It's up to us to take advantage.

God created you to be AMAZING. It's time to LOOK FORWARD and TAKE ACTION, honoring what He created you to do—and letting go of anything holding you back.

🧭 What You Need to Remember When Planning Your Next 90 Days

⚠️ Distractions Derail Progress

Life is unpredictable. Challenges will arise. Distractions will come almost daily. That’s why you need a tool that helps you stay focused—daily.

Breaking it down in 90-day increments helps you refocus, get rid of things not serving you, analyze, pivot, and shift where needed.

Storms WILL come. Your job? DANCE IN THE RAIN and keep going—NO MATTER WHAT.

A few helpful tips:

  • Be flexible. Even if it's not your default.

  • Learn to PIVOT.

  • Respond instead of reacting.

  • Pause. Reframe. Go again. Ride the rollercoaster the best you can.

  • Be honest with those around you.

  • Remember: some distractions are avoidable—you ALLOW them by not making changes.

💓 Connect Emotion to Your Plans

Planning is not just a task list.

It doesn’t have to take days or a perfect strategy. What I’ve seen over and over is that people plan with logic and turn off their emotion. That’s a problem.

After coaching hundreds of high-performers, I’ve seen the same issue: lists with no emotional connection. Big goals but no emotional anchor.

Here’s what makes my approach different: each personality needs a unique planning strategy. Whether you’re a D, I, S, or C, the 90-day framework can be tailored to fit YOU.

Planning is not about copying someone else—it’s about alignment.

🔹 D (Dominant) Needs:

  • Quick results

  • Bullet points, not paragraphs

  • Freedom and flexibility

  • Clear outcomes

🔸 I (Influential) Needs:

  • Social connection and fun

  • Visual tools and public accountability

  • Creative energy

  • Collaboration

🟢 S (Steady) Needs:
  • Step-by-step structure

  • Encouragement and support

  • Time to process and adjust

  • Routines and consistency

🔵 C (Conscientious) Needs:
  • Detailed planning

  • Time to review and refine

  • Systems and structure

  • Focus on accuracy and quality

🎯 Let’s Dive into Your 90-Day Plan

Step 1: Dig Out and Become Aware

You can't create massive results without facing reality.

Awareness is the solution. Ask yourself:

  • What were my wins?

  • What do I wish I would’ve done?

  • What fueled my energy?

➡️ Dan, a leadership client, realized his rushed mornings were crushing his productivity. No space to breathe, pray, or start with intention. Once he changed that routine, his whole day shifted.

Your morning sets the tone. Your brain needs to be centered to focus.

Step 2: What Weeds Need Pulled?

This is the most important part of growth. Weeds are the things sucking the life out of you. From relationships, to volunteering and cooking dinner. Look at this from a problem/solution filter.

When you feel off track, overwhelmed, or stuck—step back. Take a 10-foot look at your life and ask:

  • What weeds do I need to pull?

  • What’s draining me?

➡️ Sarah realized that daily arguments and lack of communication in her marriage were affecting her work. She needed to say no to volunteering. She needed white space. Once she gained awareness and took strategic action, she made massive progress in 90 days.

Step 3: Create Your Plan 🔥

Put on your gloves and FIGHT for the fire inside you.

Create a plan with emotion. Set your intentional action plan and winning strategy with heart. Here's how:

  • Write a list of goals in all areas of life. You will use this to write your letter.

  • Write a letter as if it's already June 30 and you’ve accomplished it all incorporating all your goals.

  • Sign your letter

  • Read your letter

  • Sit quietly. Visualize. Pray.

  • You will now place your letter where you can see it and read it daily.

This is not just mindset. Your brain will believe what you tell it. I’ve used this tool for years and seen incredible results.


✍️ Your 90-Day Letter: The Tool That Changes Everything

Your brain will ALIGN with what you've told it you've already accomplished. This mental "hack" works POWERFULLY. I have used these tools with my clients for years with MASSIVE RESULTS.

The letter you create serves as a FOCAL POINT that guides your actions, connecting your HEAD AND HEART. This is how we trick the brain. The brain will believe it and come into agreement with what you want to accomplish—and you will win.

It works!

This isn't just writing down goals—it's writing from the third person, in the future with your goals list. Write it as if you've ALREADY achieved everything you set out to do.

Dear Sarah,

You did it! What an incredible 90 days. Your mornings are centered and calm. You’re reading your Bible, journaling, and praying. You're tithing consistently. You feel at peace.

You’re playing games with the kids, enjoying deep conversations at dinner, going on date nights, and laughing again. You’ve grown the business by 22%, hired 3 amazing team members, and lost the 15 pounds that were draining your energy. You’re glowing.

You even started a tomato plant on the deck. You’re showing up and it’s paying off.

I’m proud of you. Let’s go again.
